The grout joints must be both completely clean and dry. Allow new grouts to fully cure. Dirty grouting should be cleaned with hg tile grout cleaner; prior to using hg tile grout sealer and protector. Hg scale away should be used to clean grouts between ceramic or porcelain tile; to remove limescale and rust deposits. Do not apply and avoid spills on marble; limestone and travertine surfaces. Allow cleaned grouting to dry for at least 24 hours; before applying hg tile grout sealer and protector with a brush or applicator. While applying; wipe up any spills as you go with a paper towel or cloth. If not all product has penetrated in the grout 10 minutes after application; remove this surplus immediately with a clean; lint free cloth. If all grout protector was soaked up after first application; apply a second coat; allowing 1 hour drying after first coat. Again remove. Any possible surplus within 10 minutes after application. Allow to dry for 3 hours before any foot traffic; and 12 hours before cleaning or liquid spills. Attention: transport and store the bottle upright.
